The Evolution of the Web

• Web 1.0 (Static Web): Read-only information delivery systems. Content was served directly out of flat computer directory files without dynamic user interactions.
• Web 2.0 (Interactive/Social Web): Read-write platform. Enabled social media applications, database connections, instant chatrooms, and content creation hubs.
• Web 3.0 (Semantic/Intelligent Web): Read-write-execute. Driven by cloud compute automation, distributed protocols, AI engines, and advanced application runtimes.

Core Components of Web Systems

Every modern application relies heavily on three core pieces: Structural styling engines (HTML/CSS), computational operations (JavaScript frameworks like React and Node.js), and long-term storage platforms (Databases like MongoDB).
